PROBIOTICS
What are probiotics? Probiotics are dietary supplements containing beneficial bacteria or yeast. Found in
either fermented diary foods such as yogurt or in supplements. Probiotics
These beneficial bacteria or micro flora are found in the stomach, on the skin, respiratory tract and genital-
urinary tract. Micro flora helps to: digest food; enhance the immune systems, and; synthesize or produce
important vitamins, nutrients and enzymes within the digestive tract. These are the preferable vitamins,
nutrients and enzymes than supplements. They also help us to dispose of toxic metals found in metal linings
of canned foods, drinks; and environmental ingested metals. GovHealthProbiotics; GovNews

The stomach or digestive tract must maintain a balance between healthy and unhealthy micro flora. The
healthy strain must always outnumber the unhealthy strain. As we abuse our bodies over time our healthy
micro flora declines and is overwhelmed by unhealthy bacteria, leaving us venerable to a host of illnesses,
e.g., e-coli, yeast infections and ones we have not discovered.
“To put it into perspective, there are approximately 100,000 billion viable bacteria in the digestive tract and
about 1,000 billion on the skin. The total number of cells in the body is approximately 10,000 billion, meaning
that we have more bacteria in our body than we have cells! In the large intestine, there are at least 400-500
species of bacteria.” http://altmedicine.about.com/cs/digestiveproblems/a/Acidophilus.htm
We restate that all of these recommended dietary supplements must be used in concert for optimal health.
You will see a marked difference in your health.
